My dressage horses have a diversified work routine. At least once a week we do sets (aka track work) often with a heart monitor. I also use long reining in my training supplemented by in hand work with a Serretta. I believe that this creates a sound mind and body and the work on the ground enables me to have an overall view of the development of my horses or those in training. Therefore, after a thoroughly educational and inspiring morning with Louise Crosbie yesterday; working with her and some of her team. I look forward to developing some skills and introducing Liberty work with my horses. I see much merit in this work to further develop relationships and repairing fractures ones with horses.
