My father William Grigoni Rimmer passed away yesterday after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. He had a remarkably strong will to live that carried him through six years of nonstop chemo, open heart surgery, radiation and numerous invasive procedures. In the last days of his life although he was no longer lucid he wrestled his way back from the brink a number of times as my Mum would come into the room which is a testament to the love that spanned 60 years of marriage. As his body reluctantly gave up the fight I held his hand and told him how much we loved him and that he would be with us forever. Love you Dad.
