My father-in-law, Dan Helland, invented this La Baye 2x4 in 1967. Only 45 were made in total, from six-string, to 12-string, and two models in bass. They are selling now for around $2500. Eastwood Custom Guitars is reissuing this classic, made famous by Devos Bob 1. As some of you know, I occasionally reissue an out-of-print classic novel by a North Carolina author, so this reissue of the La Baye 2x4 is pretty exciting. My question is, Will the volume control go to 12 like the original?
