My first encounter with a spirit, although it seemed to others that I was dreaming. I told my daughter about this, and she said that perhaps part of my brain was not asleep yet while the other part was. One night some months ago I was lying on the couch watching TV. then I must have been tired and almost fell asleep. It was late in the evening and I had my lights off. Suddenly I felt someone (Not my hubby) bent down to give me a kiss on my lips, I opened my eyes to see. This person had dark hair, combed to the back, but I could not see or make out his face. Then I felt he put his right hand into my right palm. I held his hand, and wanted to ask him who he was, but before I could ask him I felt his hand was slipping away from my hand ...gradually... I wanted to hold onto his hand, but it kept slipping away until his hand was not in mine anymore. I opened my eyes and noticed I was still awake and no one else was there. Must have been a friendly ghost. My daughter thought I was dreaming because she thinks it could happen that sometimes half of my brain hadnt fell asleep yet, even though the other half was. I kept wondering if this spirit is real, for at the time I thought I could really feel I was holding his hand in mine while he kissed me.
