My first post on this page, and just bringing some information about the current Typhoon affecting the Western Pacific. Severe Typhoon Neoguri is currently a Category 4 monster, and expected to intensify further to a Category 5. This will hit the Japanese Islands of Okinawa, but the buildings are very well built and prepared for this and even with storms this powerful they should see minimal damage. In terms of the affect on HK...even though it is around 1500km away, the subsiding air going towards the typhoon means very hot weather is being brought to HK....temperatures of 33-34 degrees celcius have been seen today. I have attached the track from the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre and a beautiful image of the strengthening Neoguri form the ISS. Any questions i will try and answer!
