My friend Luigi M Fagiani challenged a lot of fellow powerlifters to help show a young girl that we are behind her and will fight with her. Her name is Ellie Herdman she is 16 yrs young and is from Mechanicsburg OH. Shes been diagnosed with osteosarcorma which is a form of bone cancer. She just recently finished her chemotherapy and is about to start her radiation treatment. Luigi challenged us to either go a little heavier or grind out an extra rep to show Ellie we will fight too. I was suppose to do 615x2 last night so I did 615x3 for Ellie. I extend this same challenge to every powerlifter that sees this lets show Ellie our support. Im competing march 22nd in Columbus OH at the XPC finals and Im dedicating this meet to her. If I win money at this meet I will donate the entire amount to any cancer charity that Luigi chooses.
