My friend and I were walking down the sidewalk in front of First Baptist church yesterday at lunch when my shoe got caught on one of the cracks in the sidewalk. Well, the next thing I knew I was on the ground face first. It happened so quickly, probably a couple of seconds, but in that couple of seconds the nicest man pulled his truck over to the side and jumped out to come and see if he could help me. There also happened to be a NGMT ambulance sitting at the red light and both of the EMTs jumped out and came to see if they could help. I was okay, embarrassed more than anything, but I just wanted to share that with all of the awful things that are happening daily we still have some wonderful caring people in our town! I dont know their names, wish I did, but I want to thank them so much for taking the time to help.
