My friend and long time comrade ,Lisa Cruickshank is in the final stages of her life ,her battle continues in the same way that Lisa lived her life with courage ,determination and her long held faith of defending the working class against all the ammunition that bosses could throw at her . Lisa spent a portion of her life working as a O.H.and S . delegate for the Construction union as well as doing her apprenticeship as a labourer on various building sites over many years. Lisa worked her way up from building sites as a strong and committed feminist and union member to a position of expert in all things asbestosis within the union movement . She dedicated her life to people affected by this insidious disease . Lisa was a single mother overcoming all the odds , providing for her family against all the odds a single mums face ,and later in life gave birth to Holly the love of her life . We will miss Lisa for all the things I have omitted to mention here ,a mother ,a defender of workers rights and a true defender of people inflicted by the deadly disease of asbestosis . I love you comrade !!!!
