My friend from NC posted this this morning.... so perfect. Sometimes I look around my house.... at all the scuff marks, chipped paint, unfinished projects, random kid stains on the carpet, dust bunnies gathering in corners, and the million other things that I wish I had time to fix, finish, and tidy... I think to myself I should manage my time better and get to those things. But, as soon as I do, I have a little hand tugging on my shirt begging me to come read a book, check out a cool bug they found outside, asking to build block towers and fight dragons, to kiss a booboo, to make muffins, to built a fort, to take a nature walk, to run through the sprinkler, or to join in one of the many other adventures they take me on in a day. And then I think to myself, Scuff marks and dust bunnies can wait. My time is being spent on much more important things. ♥♥ What I really need to do is spend more time with them!
