My friends, let us be more MINDFUL, LOVING, and COMPASSIONATE and much less ASSUMING, JUDGMENTAL and UNSYMPATHETIC when it comes to OTHERS who are going through a DIFFICULT time. What MAY be something thats EASY for YOU to overcome, may NOT be as easy for someone else! WE ALL HANDLE THINGS DIFFERENTLY! What may AFFECT one person to the point of death, may not be a big deal for another! It doesnt make one WEAK and the other STRONG, it just makes them DIFFERENT from one another! We NEVER know EVERYTHING that someone has been through in their life- which SHAPES and MOLDS them into WHO they are today and HOW they will RESPOND/REACT to certain situations. So to tell someone to GET OVER something or to LOOK DOWN upon them because they are not handling something as YOU would (or THINK you would) is dead wrong! Its ONE thing to offer ENCOURAGEMENT to someone, and quite another to UNFAIRLY and UNRIGHTEOUSLY JUDGE them (based on your own LIMITED PERSONAL OPINIONS/ASSUMPTIONS)- without knowing/understanding ALL of the facts. Its so EASY to do- even UNINTENTIONALLY. We may truly MEAN well, but sometimes our APPROACH comes off wrong and makes a person feel ATTACKED instead of COMFORTED. Ive been GUILTY of this very thing myself in the past (even unintentionally) and have even EXPERIENCED it at the hands of others, which is why Im able to speak on it. So instead of using the IM JUST KEEPING IT REAL excuse to TEAR others down, let us truly KEEP IT REAL and realize we ALL have areas in our lives that can bring us down. Yes, let us try to MEET PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE and then BUILD THEM UP in KINDNESS and LOVE; instead of trying to CRUSH THEM WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY DOWN. Be led by the SPIRIT OF GOD in ALL things, and seek DISCERNMENT in knowing when to speak.. Otherwise, SILENCE IS GOLDEN!!!
