My heart is broken. I lost today my friend, my dog Pepsie, she was always there for me in happy and sad moments. I got her 5 years ago when I was diagnosed with cancer to sheer up my boys, but she was more closer to Mike and me. How ironic is life that takes her away from me a week before all my scheduled cancer test, to declare me free of cancer (God willing) or to continue my battle. It is like God gave her to me all these 5 years to sheer me up and helped me thru the process. This is a day that I will never forget, I feel like a part of me is gone. I wished I was close to her to prevent this tragedy, she drowned in our pool. Why?? Why I was not there??
