My heart is loud with excitement (and butterflies) to announce that Ive registered for the 2015 Seva Challenge to Kenya with Off the Mat, Into the World™, in partnership with The Village Cooperative and The Village Experience. Well be working closely with a couple of local organizations in Kenya, with a focus on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Early Childhood Marriage (ECM), while also raising awareness around other violence committed against women throughout the rest of the world. (My heart just got louder...did yours?) In the coming weeks and months, Ill be reaching out to ask for your love and support in whatever forms you are able to offer both. My goal is to raise $10, 000 and this heart-brain of mine has already started happily brainstorming the many ways that I hope we can come together—for we are here to love one another, if nothing else.
