My higher self ... People see me as a black woman - this is their limitation of the mind I see myself as my mother and my father - I honoured my father and mother for this reason. I know that both my parents honoured their parents. Some believe that connecting to ones higher self can be resolved by a family tree... but what if a family tree shows that your ancestors were murderers? What does that do to your conscience? Does it make you feel guilty for their crimes? An evolved soul connects to its higher self by acknowledging its connection with what was at the beginning - this is what I regard as the spirit of my forefathers! I am not accountable for the actions of those descending from the spirit of my forefathers. It if for this reason why I am not accountable for what my relatives did; and my decision to distance myself from them is proof that despite sharing the same family tree, we are not spiritually connected ...no one can connect to their spirit world unless they have a soul ...
