My job isnt exactly the Driving career I thought Id be doing at this point in my life. No Im not even a has been Im a never was... Really kinda hard for me go ask someone for $250k so I get to race a car and most likely it will be wrecked by someone who doesnt care if they write on off. Oh what might have been and (tough pill to swallow) never will be again. Lap record at Laguna seca-still standing. I never had legit track time, test days, same crew chief, working car or co drivers that didnt get kicked out of qualifying for being too slow. Till i went to a team that belived in me(automatic racing)But at the last race I was in 2nd till I got clipped from behind in lap 5 of a 2 hr race. Thena Daytona prototype team who had been watching my progress wanted me to drive for them(multi million dollar team) but they wanted $30k... I thought it was about the better driver giving his team the best chance to win. Wrong its ol money bags Joe race car driver-5sec off the pace who gets a hired gun or hot shoe if you will to take him where him driving skills never could. Boo on that and boo to letting the better driver qualify the car and ol whisky dick starts the race on pole but then somehow fades back to mediocrity. Get in where you fit in. Just smile and keep singing those checks.
