My kids refer to my husband as The Volunteer a moniker of honor because he volunteered to take on a divorced mother of three young children,love and support us all. Tomorrow my first grandson Dennis becomes The Volunteer when he marries Heather and her three little ones. I guess he has learned from the best. First his mother, who raised her two children as a single parent. ( Yup we both picked dead beats to marry the first time. ) And from Fred as an outstanding role model. Heather is a lovely woman and good mother. Dennis chose well. I am proud of them both and wish them a lifetime of love and support.
