My late Father circa 1970 Michigan Bar Association Photo by Allen Studios Coast to Coast Detroit, MI (now defunct). Dad as I always say to him, died 11 years ago yesterday at 4:45PM EDT 2003. It was the worst day of my life. Fr. Robert McCabe formerly Asst. Pastor of St. Pauls on the Lake Catholic Church, now of Pope Pius X and St. Marys of Redford, was a wonderful friend to my Dad in the weeks and months before he died and he was a spiritual friend for me. Highlights: WWII Combat Wounded, 2 Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, WWII Occupation Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European Theater Ribbon with 3 Stars, WWII Victory Medal; Admitted as Attorney to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court on 1 September 1965; 6th U.S. Court of Appeals Cincinnati 1976; former Adjunct Professor The University of Michigan Business School at the Dearborn Center of the University of Michigan; former Business Professor Macomb Community College; Lawyers Title 1956 - 1965; Sisters of Mercy 1965 - 1970; Wayne County Corporation Counsel Asst. Corp. Counsel 1975 - 1993, continued practicing law until 1 month before death.
