My life experiences growing up in a blended family are one reason I am uniquely qualified to continue as your Family Court Judge. Though my parents divorced, they were both actively involved in my life, & in both their homes I had step-parents & step-siblings. Now, Im co-parenting my two children with their dad, and I also have a step-daughter who spends lots of time in our home as well. I know what it is to juggle time sharing schedules, birthdays, holidays and school events within a blended family. I dont always have all the answers. But, no matter the issue in family court, its very likely Ive lived it--as the child, the parent or the step-parent and as a result I am best able to serve those facing these same challenges.
