My little girl. The pony riding, orphan calf flanking, wise well beyond her years, precocious, brilliant soul who found herself under the care of a 19 year old mother whod never so much as played with a doll .... and not only made that work for her, but taught me so many things a child should not be responsible for teaching her mother. Somehow, this young woman took herself from the black nails and lipstick of the Goth scene all the way to 5th Avenue .... painting pretty ladies from the designer cosmetic counters of legendary stores. Her gift doesnt stop with artistry .... her true gift is the way she lends her talent to making women feel beautiful and beloved. Jolis joy is infectious, but its the deep current of courage that runs through her that I find the most amazing. Without this light in my life, I have no clue who I would be.
