My morning has not begun optimally. A half inch of snow has fallen and Im traveling from here which is currently 36º to Austin which is predicted to have a high of 82º. I wish to wear easy to slip on and off shoes. I think Ill wear my knock off Uggs with some leather flipflops in my carryon. That way Ill be comfortable on my trip to the airport but then can switch to my flipflops if my feet start sweating on the plane. Also, I had an ... incident with my powder creamer this morning. It was still sealed. And, sometimes, due to the higher pressure up here when one pulls open the seal, the contents leap out of the container like their collectives asses are on fire. I ended up with powdered creamer on my the counter, my hand, my sleeve and my tshirt front. Luckily it brushes off so I was not marked for life. And, finally, one of our smoke alarms went off right when I was about to walk underneath it. MAN! that sucker was loud. Made me jump out of my skin. But, at least I know which alarm is about due for a battery change instead of running around the house and standing underneath countless alarms trying to find the beeper. I Know which one is the culprit ... this time.
