My name is Tom Jaffke, Daniel Jaffkes father, and this is Eric Jaffke Daniels older brother who cant speak for himself but has been impacted by the murder of Daniel more than most people. Eric cant walk or talk and has very little to smile about. But one thing he did have that he enjoyed was Daniel playing guitar and singing to him. He loved that and would smile and laugh when Daniel played for him. Eric doesnt know why Daniel doesnt visit anymore and sing to him but I know he will miss that for the rest if his life. Eric doesnt know about death and murder that we know of but he has lost someone precious to his very limited life. As for me, I have a son who was born with a God given gift for music and I tried and succeeded in raising him to be a good and responsible human being. He turned out to be a fine young man who worked hard and gave of himself to others. Im very proud of him and of what he accomplished in his 30 years of life. He is sorely missed and admired by many people. Shawn Wilson willfully took Daniels life for no reason. He is a danger and a menace to society. I ask for both Eric and myself for him to receive the highest penalty he can receive per Indiana law.
