My necklace broke in the gym today so afterwards while picking up Mio from the store I saw a jewelry shop! The old man in there said 3 weeks to fix and he recommends just getting a new one. I told him Im not from around here and he said he would look at it! He said its an interesting piece of jewelry and asked where I got it. I said Afghanistan and he just looked and me and went in the back. 5 minutes later he came back it was fixed and he was crying because he lost his son in Iraq! I gave him a huge and he told me my money was no good there! Sad moment, thought id share.
