My post-Buddhist and interreligious spirituality has been - TopicsExpress

My post-Buddhist and interreligious spirituality has been constructed in Hong Kong through the Buddhist Door International. As a peace promoter through interfaith exegeses, political crises or turmoils and wars of terror in the Arab nations in the Middle Eastern nations, such as Israel-Palestine conflict , Iraq-ISIS military confrontation, Ukraine -Russia political turmoil in Ukraine , Muslims-Han Chinese tension in mainland China; China-U.S-Japan diplomatic rows in South China Sea are parts and parcels of my investigation of Dhamma or Dharma. Politics is obviously a part of Dhamma or Dharma. Of course, the current political row between Hong Kongs Occupy Central protesters has drawn my attention too. Regard me as a neutral observer and judge my view without fear and favour so that the central leadership between Hong Kongs Occupy Central Protesters initiated mainly by students fueled by political activists and the political leaders unfriendly to mainland Chinese government leadership . Only two polity theories are dividing two confronting parties . The first polity theory is the mainland Chinese Governments desire of a strict controlled democracy grounded in the Basic Law for the governance of Hong Kongers. As a neutral observer, I consider that this proposal of controlled democracy is conducive to the welfare and prosperity of the political and economic management of both Hong Kong and mainland China as a whole. Management is Dhamma or Dharma too. This is a beautiful polity theory A. On the other hand , the Hong Kongs Occupy Central protest leaderships desire of a complete freedom of universal suffrage to elect their Chief Executive without interfering vetting of the mainland Chinese government. This is also a beautiful polity theory B. When both theories A and B are equally beautiful and politically significant, these two theories might lead to potential chaotic or violent or even bloody conflict between two confronting team A and team B. I sincerely , without siding any party, remind the government of mainland China and the Hong Kong political occupy Central protesters to negotiate peacefully. Honest attempt must be to strike a happy medium between the two confrontional parties . I agree that the current Chief Executive of Hong Kong is currently making a hard effort to pacify both sides. He is negotiating peacefully with the protesters to agree to agree and to agree to disagree. Concessions must exceed demands to negotiate fruitfully and peacefully. If this middle path of negotiation for patience , concession and compromise does not work out positively , I would then propose that both parties to adhere to Path of Tao of Lao-tzu to settle the political turmoil. This political tug of war might end up with a second potential outbreak of Tiananmen Square bloodshed of 1989 when both the enforcing unit of police force of Hong Kong and the full-democracy protesters have totally lost their sanity to control their heads and emotions. MH370 mirrored the ordinary Chinese citizens can be strangely neurotic and traumatic in the face of an extreme tragedy. Uncontrolled human beings easily lose their Lord or Tao or God. In the Tao Te Ching , Lao-tzu asserts that when the Path of Tao is abandoned by the human beings, the rules of propriety (li) must be reinforced or implemented. In this case , the rules of propriety (li) is the enforcement of legalism of the Basic Law imposed by mainland Chinese government upon the political execution of the progressive city of Hong Kong. The mainland Government is the political Father and the Hong Kong citizens are the children of the same Father. Confucian deontological ethics require that the children must respect and obey the father or the mother and the juniors must respect the seniors and vice versa. These are traditional Chinese characteristics that must not be forgotten to preserve the unity, harmony and peace of both mainland China and Hong Kong. The Hong Kongers must remember that Hong Kong is a systemic part of the of the systemic Whole of the Peoples Republic of China even though the policy of One Nation Two Systems allows freedom of autonomy for the Hong Kongers. The Father is still a father; the children are still the children. Confucian ethics are Chinese characteristics emphasized by the mainland Chinese Government leaders. The leader and the led are one. The Basic Law unites the leader and the led. If your are Buddhists , do not ignore the Buddhist Precepts. If you are the Christians, do not forget the basic law of Divine Commandments.if you are Muslim , do not neglect the basic law of Sharia. If you a student, respect the basic law of your school or college or university even you disagree. Peace must be agreed by all. . Before we are enlightened , the basic laws or traditional norms unite us. I consider that Hong Kongers are spiritually wise enough to understand my proposal of giving is better than receiving. I love Korean movies because I see that juniors respect the seniors and senior take care of the juniors. I like such Confucian or Traditional culture.
