My prayers go out this morning to our brothers and sisters in our Armed Forces doing both local and international duty. Your allegiance to the South African flag and its constitution is something that makes me appreciate our Army more. In my book our Armed Forces are our real heroes who day and night seek justice and defend the innocent in the DRC, on our Border Line, Inside the Kruger Park defending Rhinos, on African coasts defending our Oceans and in our skies ensuring that no enemy sneaks on us unaware! Do your duty in all things , you cannot do more and you should never wish to do less. Do not hesitate to use your Divine sword to protect both life and limb ! It is not my duty to say to you that that thou shall not kill when the consequence is that more people end up dead, it is your duty when lives are threatened to do the killing! Especially as women are raped, villages pillaged and children enlisted into ragtag rebel armies.Your actions have both good and bad results but must be condoned if they intend bringing good outcomes of a peaceful and thriving African Continent. Yes you are fighting necessary wars in Africa ensuring that the phenomena of rebels and child soldiers is put to rest.Your peace keeping wars are just wars. You are always present to ensure that when African Diplomacy fails , you can protect both life and limb by laying your own lives on the line. Yes I do agree with Chinese General Sun Tzu, that to subdue the ememy without a fight is supreme excellence, but when diplomacy fails our men in blue helmets must step in to enforce peace in Africa. G-d bless South Africa and her sons and daughters in the Armed forces !
