My students on my Hs bus never cease to amaze me.. Just when I think I have them all figured out. They leave me with my jaw on the bus floor.. The one had me laughing so hard this morning that I had tears rolling from laughing.. Was waiting my turn to get out of school grounds to get my 2nd run to their school and my one girl wasnt feeling so nice today so she called the boy a name lol.. They tease back and forth like siblings.. Well he calls my name and asked me this, Mrs. Terry,, Is ***** on her period?He was just as serious, when he realized hed floored me he says What? I live with a bunch of females Mrs. Terry,, We talk openly about this stuff. My Dad and I are so out numbered LOL Needless to say I was absolutely shocked and then cracked up laughing.. I got laughing so hard out of being so surprised that he asked me that.. As i said these kids are always good for a good hard laugh.. Once I got my act together I looked at him and said.. ****.. IF that is the case,, youd be safer to leave her be.. She got laughing and said GOOD RESPONSE MRS. TERRY.. They got laughing I got laughing all over again.. Then the boy says Hey Mrs. Terry, Im so glad I could make you laugh today.. I feel alot better now, Ive missed your smile and laughter this week My kids are so compassionate and caring.. THEN.. Yes it didnt end there.. I got my Elementary Crew to school were sitting waiting to be unloaded and ****** I hear using the word disgruntal (sp?) I was like wow.. Big word.. She then gets my attention and tells me that she is very disgruntal that her teacher was suppose to give them a packet early in the week and now they still dont have it and how she only has 1 day to get the project done etc.. I got laughing at her.. Shes one of my 5th graders and I then realized it must have been one of her spelling words this week.. Her body language and tone was without a doubt a perfect defination of the word.. I swear if someone pulls my cameras theyd get one hell of a laugh with my group of kids on my bus.. Never a dull moment..
