My two cent: Islam Defending the TRUTH is so NECESSARY. I pray this post will be received in love... First let me start by saying I wasnt around 570AD and neither was YOU and with that said we can only go by what weve heard, study, research and ultimately BELIEVE of documented history. Many people are calling Islam a religion of violence and in my opinion rightfully so... I know the politicly correct thing to say is that Islam is a religion of peace but IT IS NOT. Allow me to elaborate and debate in love a few things that most muslims FALSELY claim: (1) Islam is a religion of peace (2) Islam is a Abrahamic religion (3) Mohammed is the last prophet of God (4) Islam worship the same God as Christians & revere Jesus...By enlarge every muslim that I PERSONALLY know are people of love, humility and peace. I love the people but its the religion itself that undoubtably teaches/promote violence. While most muslims do NOT follow the Osama Bin Laden/Terrorist Jihad aspects of the Quran, technically the terrorist are following the Quran properly because their following the later teachings of Mohamed which holds more weight. And for anyone that does not believe this still goes on and that Islam is a wonderful/beautiful religion of peace just try as a non muslim, taking a vacation to Mecca, more than likely youll be imprisoned or never heard of again, I even learned that if youre in Sadia Arabia driving on the freeway towards Mecca, there are signs that say non muslims must exit here. I DO NOT believe that all muslims are terrorist but Islam definitely has a terrorist problem within in the religion. I respect the people but I CAN NOT respect the religion itself. God of the universe is a jealous God and He condemns false religions with 100% consistency in His word referring to them as; false apostles, deceitful workmen masquerading as apostles of Christ {Galatians 1 & 2Corinthians 11} (AS WE CAN CLEARLY SEE BY TODAYS VIOLENCE)... So, its not out of line or is it hate, to debate or call Islam a false religion and/or a religion that teaches violence. Love & Respect the people but NOT the religion. Further, Mohamed was NOT a prophet of God but instead a man that had an idea, a movement and a religion that he convinced many to believe in and then he spread Islam by violence, by the sword and by forced conversion. I understand that muslims hold high reverence for Mohamed and truly believe he is a wonderful man/prophet of God but most are unaware of his documented history. Studying the recorded history of Mohamed makes that very clear. Mohamed was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 570 A.D. died in 632 A.D. and it was common in Arabia for Arab folk to worship different pagan gods and Mohameds particular tribe worshiped a moon god called Allah (which means god in Arabic). Just because someone calls their god GOD does not mean theyre referring to the same GOD. So, Jesus & Mohamed DID NOT worship the same God/god and therefore Muslims pray to a different god and teaches a different jesus. The jesus of the Quran is an invented jesus...and the Bible says in 2Corinthians 11 if someone teaches a different jesus to you, let them be eternally condemned. Although the Quran does make mention of a few similarities like He was a Messiah, but they say only to the Jews and yet NOT a Savior. They claim Jesus was a forerunner to Mohamed, did not raise from the dead and was not crucified...these are false claims. All we need to do is look at the God & Jesus of the Bible and the god & jesus of the Quran and its clear theyre different. Although the Quran BORROWS a lot of things of the Bible especially from the old testament (with numerous changes & contradictions). Example #1: the God of the Bible is a Triune God {God The Father/ God The Son/ God The Spirit} Jesus Christ as God was there throughout the old testament He just wasnt revealed yet... even in Genesis of the old testament during the creation of man it says; Let Us make man in Our own Image (Thats The Triune God) Muslims reject that, they dont believe Jesus is God as well as the Son of God nor do they believe in the Holy Spirit as a member of the Godhead/Triune. Example #2: The Bible says man was created on earth, the Quran says man was created in a paradise called Jana, not on earth...so this is NOT the same god that muslims believe in. Around 610 A.D. Mohammed age 40, claims he received his first revelation from the Angel Gabriel in a dream and this is where revelations started with him, so the Quran is a collection of words that Mohammed attributed to Allah, the Hadith is a collection of narrations of the life & deeds of Mohamed and are considered scripture to Muslims, so these two books are the holy writings & teachings of Islam. In the early parts of the Quran Mohamed was more about peace. Mohamed claims he was in the same lineage of Abraham & Jesus and that Islam is an Abrahamic religion.THATS NOT TRUE! Islam only goes back to the early 600s A.D. started by Mohamed amongst the Arab people. Although it can be argued that the Arab race goes back to Abraham through Ishmael (Abrahams son) {AND THATS NOT KNOWN FOR SURE} truth is, many Arabs were worshiping all kinds of pagan gods and Mohameds god was Allah, NOT THE GOD OF ABRAHAM. Mohamed then started trying to convert people around him to his new religion. Mohameds Allah/god wanted to make sure that Muslims knew to obey Mohammeds every wish, which is REPEATED throughout the Quran. Mohameds initial goal was to stop people from worshiping multiple gods and only worship his god Allah. In Mecca many religions was there worshiping their pagan gods and desired to do so in peace but because of Mohamed believing Islam is the only true religion he rejected that peace and his new religion was intended to dominate other people so the people of Mecca rejected Mohamed. This led to war against the people of Mecca with people of Medina. Mohamed fled to Medina, gained more power, became more upset, more demanding and more ruthless because of being rejected. This is when/where Mohamed wanted to start carrying out this Jihad against people and basically when Islam became violent. I believe most muslims are people of love & peace but the religion of Islam is NOT, so when you hear people call Islam a religion of violence its because what they were taught to be. I have love for Barak Obama but he continues to claim that its only a few bad people causing all this violence... THATS NOT TRUE SIR... Its a religion where the people are following what their leader requires. So please family dont be naive in believing Islam teaches peace. We all have a FREE will to do as we please, to worship as we please, to choose as we please. My desire is that we choose the true saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and yes that includes my Muslim fam... What does it profit to love, live, laugh, have possessions but yet lose your soul?
