My walk to the bank, a good brisk 10 minuets there and 10 minutes - TopicsExpress

My walk to the bank, a good brisk 10 minuets there and 10 minutes back… in the 10 minutes there I walked past: - Tourists that I could barely understand asking for directions, assumed they wanted to go to the museum so hopefully pointed them in the right direction. - Someone looking for people to sign up for GreenPeace who I could greatfully say “I already donate monthly and have done for the passed 12 years” - Roadrage in the middle of Khyber Pass and Broadway (could they have picked a busier intersection) - AND some really pretty but BIG girl who’s skirt was to short so you could see the crotch of her stockings. Then I get to the bank and lady doesn’t understand what I’m trying to say because I broke the rules (thanks Ryan lol). So my awesome personal banker Ryan phones to tell her what she has to do and save me the frustration of a tantrum in the bank lol. Then my walk back to work again becomes interesting when I pass: - Three women who are the size of sticks but still manage to block the footpath for anyone who actually has somewhere to be! - A guy from the Fred Hollows foundation who is looking for donations but decides to insult me by saying “obviously you know about the Fred Hollows foundation because you wear glasses” umm… yeah that’s appropriate to say when you’re wanting money bud! I smiled and said “actually I know about the Fred Hollows foundation because I work for the Foundation of the Blind” and kept walking all the while thinking “well that was rude” - BUT to finish it off, I go to pick up my lunch (which I ordered before I left the office) and there’s a long queue but obviously I’ve ordered so I can jump the long queue and get my ordered but oh no some jumped up git tries to have a go at me for line hopping when he’s doing his ordered and he’s in front of me “sorry but I actually ordered online and I’m just picking my order up – maybe you should try it sometime and you wont get stuck in long lines waiting”. OML! Who would have thought that 45 minutes out of the office would turn in to such an adventure! I hope my lunchtime misfortune amuses someone out there though! Time for teriyaki chicken with extra bacon and a Mother!
