My weekend project was to rebuild my muffler. The system had suffered road rash and I bought a new ali tube and it was too thick. I had it machined on the inside to fit the caps and also a collar welded in to hold the centre baffle. Polished and packed with the steel wool and I also had cut some new SS bands that I riveted on the muffler. The original one had this finish too. Pic of the finished system too. I threw in some pics of the polished foot plates with the striking blue peg mounts. and my newly re-sleeved rear master cyl that I also had gold annodising on the attaching pieces.
