Position Objective As an ABC Pro, you are trained on our cutting edge mobile bidding platform to assist our non-profit clients and their guests during charity events (galas, parties, and golf outings) with registration, silent-auction bidding and donations. ABC Pros are responsible for engaging guest to help utilize our platform to help our partners reach their fundraising goals. Our ABC Pro’s performance is critical to assure superior client satisfaction during events, and create a fun environment for donors. Key Duties/Responsibilities • Have Fun, Smile and Encourage Fundraising Activity • Work closely with the On-Site Manager (OSM), other ABC Pros and Event Attendees • Register guests for the silent auction • Assist guests with questions about ABC technology • Provide donor assistance • Assist with the check-out process • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated by ABC Staff and On-Site Manager Personal Attributes • Be AWESOME!!! • Outgoing, dynamic personality • Comfortable in a dynamic, changing work environment • Excellent verbal communication skills • Basic understand of tablet and smartphone technology/services • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities • Passionate about positive customer experiences Expectations Dress Code Depending on the type of event you work, dress accordingly. You should exercise good taste and common sense when selecting appropriate business attire. Please see below: ABC Red Shirts will be issued on-site or prior to the event Men: Black Dress Pants and shoes (no gym shoes) Women: Black Pants or Skirt with black heels or flats PANT RULES • Black dress pants only • No leggings • No yoga pants • No black jeans SKIRT RULES • Skirt length must be no shorter than just above the knee. • Black only, please. JEWELRY - If you wear jewelry, keep it simple please! • No eyebrow, tongue, or large facial jewelry. • No large hoop earrings TATTOOS • Large tattoos should be covered. Event Prep We expect you to do a little research on the charity we are supporting and arrive 1 hour before the event start time, and be prepared to engage the attendees. Information about the event will be distributed to ABC Pro’s in advance of the event date. Compensation ABC Pro’s are paid an hourly rate for the entire time they are at the event, we also compensate for travel to/from events based on location and time on a per event basis.
