NDA took Indias GDP from $423.2 billion in 1998 to $617.6 billion in 2003. In contrast, UPA-1 (2004 - 2009) took the GDP from $617.7 billion to a phenomenal $1,224.1 billion - doubling our GDP. During UPA-2, despite a tough global economic environment, GDP grew from $1,224.1 billion to 1,841.7 billion by the end of 2013.
