NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT: ANTELOPE Our Sheriff Department Robbery - TopicsExpress

NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT: ANTELOPE Our Sheriff Department Robbery Detectives are looking into the strong possibility that there is a crime spree of home invasion robberies to unsuspecting residents in the Antelope area. On Monday, June 30th, between 9:20-9:40PM, two Antelope area residents were victimized by armed robbers who entered their homes through open garage doors and took personal property that was easy to grab and run; such as money, small electronics and jewelry. Another home invasion robbery occurred to an Antelope area resident yesterday morning (Monday the July 14th) at approximately 7AM, when armed robbers again entered the home through an open garage door and took easy-carry items from within the home. In reviewing the suspect descriptions with all victimized residents, we would like you to be aware of this potential series involving between 2-5 black males, aged between 16-25 years old. They are described as average height (58-60) and of thin build. In two of the three incidents, the suspects were seen leaving the crime scene in an older dark colored (possibly blue or grey) sedan. We currently do not have surveillance footage of the suspects or incidents and are asking all residents to be aware of your neighbors, neighborhoods and surroundings when conducting every-day business around your homes. All three of these incidents occurred on a Monday. If anyone happens to notice any suspicious people or vehicles in your neighborhoods, please dont hesitate to call our dispatch to request an officer (874-5115 non/emergency and 911 for emergencies), as our area patrol officers have also been briefed of this potential robbery series. Please be safe and know our Detectives are working on solving these cases in the quickest way possible.
