NEW EVENTS SPONSORED BY; Lowell, Indiana Feel Good page. This is a real chance for you, through the Feel Good page, to help those less fortunate during this holiday season. We will be seeking approval from the Lowell School System to help identify families in need and to distribute Thanksgiving food baskets. These baskets will be made from a licensed and local food caterer. We will be collecting through the Feel Good page from local caterers the baskets, and directly delivering these basket to the families in need. Delivery will take place on Thanksgiving eve. We are currently looking for caterers to help support our local Thanksgiving Basket drive. Therefore if you are a professional, local caterer and would like to become involved, please contact me as soon as you can for details. Shortly we will also contacting Stracks as well to see if they would like to be involved in producing and packing the baskets for us to deliver. We would also like to encourage you to anonymously sponsor families that may be in need. These families may be missed by the school system, or may not have any children in school but may still have a tremendous need. Certainly more information to come as we lock in our sponsors and the list of families which will be kept extremely confidential. We will also conduct Toy Drive for the Christmas season. We will be identifying children in need through the same manner as the Thanksgiving Baskets. Dates, times, and collection sites to soon be determined. We hope to partner with local businesses for collection sites. Therefore if you are a business or know someone that owns a business that would volunteer to be a collection site, please let me know. The toys must be new and in the original packaging. They will be distributed in much the same way as the Thanksgiving Baskets. Again, if you would like to sponsor and become a secret Santa to a particular child, contact me directly and instead of dropping the item(s) off at a collection site, I will personally pick them up to ensure that the item(s) you purchased are delivered to the appropriate child/children in time for Christmas. With your support, I would like to take our site to the next level in supporting our community. This will be our first year in undertaking such a feat, and while there are bound to be glitches, if we feed one family and provide a single new toy to just one child that would otherwise not receive anything, then I would call it a success. So let your heart be your guide and I pray that we are truly blessed with a very successful first year. I also pray that as you give may it be returned to you ten fold.
