On at least a weekly basis, well be sharing a tidbit, morsel or you might say a wee mite of information about real estate that puts into a nutshell, what we think is interesting or important and in some cases could impact your pocket book. We hope you tune in regularly to see whats up, hot, funny, ridiculous and just plain interesting in Realty Land. Todays update is about Flood Insurance. Yes, we admit - somewhat of a boring topic. BUT, if youre one of MILLIONS of Americans who can sleep just a tad bit easier knowing that your insurance rates will not skyrocket (at least for the next 4 years) due to the flood insurance national program continuing OR a new home owner who will be able to afford the home youd like to purchase without additional financial strain, this is good news. REALTORS across Michigan and the nation have been working on this issue for some time. Were thankful that Congress did what needed to be done!
