From Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th April, the Festival, taking place on the beautiful south coast of Ireland, offers an array of workshops and seminars for every level of dancer, from absolute beginners to advanced, all of whom are equally and warmly welcome at our four days of tango immersion. Look forward to dancing each night and into the next morning, starting on Thursday 9th in the ballroom of Cork city centre’s historic Metropole Hotel with its lightsome atmosphere and river views. On subsequent nights, the nearby Montenotte Hotel’s airy Garden Room will host our ball and milongas. During the afternoons, join our tango cafés at the hotel’s hill-top Harbour Suite with its floor to ceiling windows offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city below. Here you’ll forge friendships and renew old ones before dashing off to our programme of workshops and seminars under the tutelage of our maestros. To keep those bodies dancing fit, we’ve organised free yoga and Feldenkrais classes to sooth and replenish weary limbs before the next round of dancing in what promises to be our biggest and best festival yet.
