NEWS!!! Liz Clarke Welch texted me to see how Pixie was doing. I knew she was better but went in so the report could be super fresh! PIXIE WAS EATING ON HER OWN! She was just crunching away! Ive never had to syringe feed her, but Ive always had to offer it since she came home. She was just doing her own thing, and Im pretty sure she had also had water on her own (I have carefully syringed some water, very little at a time). She was talking away, rubbing up against things, and then I opened the door and she ZOOMED out! Poor girl - she had to go back to the bedroom. We are 8 days post vaccine (modified live) here, so everybody should be safe but we want to be cautious. Pixie gets to sleep with me at night and I go in often to visit her. Thank you so much for the prayers and healing energy - my girl is getting stronger by the minute!
