[NEWS] Woollim Apologizes for Infinite Sung Kyu’s Statement on 30-Year Old Women Speaking without thinking, Infinite’ Sung Kyu slipped out a word with negative connotations, subsequently offending women. On June 26, tvN released extra footage for The Genius, which Sung Kyu is currently a part of. In the video, Park Eun Ji expressed that living life is getting harder now that she’s 30-years old. Lee Sang Min then began to say, “Truthfully, women in their 30s are…” and Sung Kyu finished the sentence with “wily.” Sung Kyu’s choice of words split netizens in opinion, some saying they were disappointed while others thought it was just a joke, but as the issue became greater, Woollim Entertainment officially apologized for Sung Kyu. “Sung Kyu is currently self-reflecting. He didn’t say it with a negative meaning, but is very apologetic that it offended many people,” said Woollim Entertainment. The video has also been removed from Facebook.
