Hi everyone, well so far so good in the motherland.....we made it to Edmonton today....tired from the long drive but we had some great stops on the way up....the border crossing was a breeze for once, we had no problems with Kamaz...so nice to know......we stopped in BC about 1 hr in at a wonderful lake where Kamaz decided to make himself an honorary Canadian by rolling in Canada goose poop! Yippers perfect for a road trip....thank goodness we were at a lake....then we made it to Lake Louise, spend the night there and enjoyed the lake and scenery....we got up early only to showered with cold rain....which gave us a delay in the hike we wanted to do up to Mt Allen.....but since it is Grizzly bear season, we had to have 4 ppl to hike back there and well most of the tourist were not prepared to do such a hike or were to scared to go up in that country....next time...so instead we checked out Morraine lake and then we hiked up johnsons canyon to the meadows....all so beautiful....we had a great time. We then ate like Carnivores at the Grizzly house in Banff and spent the night there....Banff Springs Thermal pools included...felt good to shower by this time......then this am we headed to Edmonton here....well we are ready to chill and looking forward to family and friends time.....hope all are well....it will be a short visit....but so worth it.....Hope all are well....
