His #9 in 1990 was his only TOP 10 when he teamed up with B52s female vocalist Katie Pierson and performed Candy. However it is his #11 hit of 1986 that will always be his trademark hit and has such great significance in Australian history. On Friday, April 17, 1987, a new music TV show was born. It is still running today, making it the oldest TV music show still in production. Every Friday and Saturday night around midnight, give or take, teenagers, those in their 20s and 30s (and a few in their 40s, 50s and 60s), would (and still do) tune in with great anticipation to watch the weird and wonderful tunes and their accompanying video clips on RAGE. Rage has in some way played a part in almost every Australian teenagers life from the 80s, and continues to do so!
