NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OHIO — FIVE FERAL KITTENS SHOT BY POLICE CHIEF. Dozens of protestors showed up at 8:30 a.m. outside the North Ridgeville Public Library to participate in a protest walk for the “Wood Pile 5” yesterday. The protest, organized by the Lorain Pooch Patrol, was spurred by the refusal of North Ridgeville Police Chief Mike Freeman to take disciplinary action against humane officer Barry Accorti, who shot and killed five feral kittens Monday who were living in a wood pile by a Vista Lake Way home. morningjournal/articles/2013/06/13/news/doc51b941e65550a339632104.txt
