»»»»» NOT WITHOUT WOUNDS ««««« Sometimes, I wonder why many young people, who have heard the Gospel several times and have been in places of great revival, and even have wonderful Christian background, still refuse to surrender their lives to Christ and be saved. As I ponder on this, the reasons begin to evolve before me. It is not that they do not want to get saved. In fact, many of them hope and believe they will get saved but not now! They want to enjoy the pleasures of sin for the meantime. They are so confident of the future which may not be! The Bible says in Proverbs 27:1;” Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” That tells us that we can only be sure of the present. Nobody is really certain about tomorrow, not so much, the future. Go to now, ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go in such a city, and continue there a year; and buy and sell, and get gain: whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away (James 4:13 – 14). There is an acceptable time of salvation. There is a day wherein God can be found (Isaiah 55:6) and that time is NOW!
