NOTICE ALL YOGIS! Next Wednesday, November 5th, there will be temporary paving going on through Concord Avenue from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Please read the newsletter below for all parking/walking/general information. Thank you! Dear Concord Avenue Residents and Business Owners, On Wednesday, November 5th (weather permitting), the City’s contractor, P. Gioioso & Sons, Inc., will be undertaking temporary paving of Concord Avenue (Birch to Huron) to improve driving conditions for the winter months. Paving operations will begin at 8:30am and will continue until complete (5pm). Concord Ave Construction Detour: The contractor will install the temporary road one lane at a time. Inbound vehicular traffic will be maintained and outbound traffic will be detoured Walden Street to Garden Street to Bay State Road. The Walden Street construction will not occur on this day to allow for Concord Ave detour traffic to pass through. What to Expect during Temporary Paving: ·Pedestrian traffic will be unimpeded along the existing sidewalks, with some restrictions at crossings during paving. ·There will be No Parking allowed on the street between the hours of 7am and 5pm. ·All effort will be made to restore parking as soon as possible. ·Signage and police details will be onsite to assist traffic and detour route. ·There will be No Vehicle access to/from the driveways until 5pm that day. Please plan vehicle trips accordingly. ·Emergency vehicles will have access to all properties at all times. ·City services will continue uninterrupted. ·Paving is weather dependent, and may be rescheduled due to rain.
