NSE launches online complaint window MUMBAI, DECEMBER 1: The NSE has put in place a system for people/investors to tip-off the bourse on information regarding unfair trade practices such as price rigging, front running, synchronised trading and other malpractices. The complaint can be registered on the NSE’s website. Investors/public have the option to provide details on the matter either anonymously or otherwise on violations/manipulations by market participants that may adversely affect the market quality and integrity. Though the information is treated as confidential by NSE, it would be revealed if required by statute, regulation, or court of law. Moreover the bourse stated that grievances against brokers may be registered under the section ‘Domestic investors/register an e-complaint’ on the NSE website. Any investor complaint of specific nature given under this section may not receive attention of Investor Services Cell, it said. (This article was published on December 1, 2014)
