NWCZ Radio has been around nearly 3 years now, and its time for us to do some upkeep and upgrading! In lieu of a fundraising campaign and begging for cash to buy new stuff, were asking for everyone to look deep in your studio closets for any extra equipment and/or gear you may not be using to donate for our efforts. Were looking to gather upgraded computer equipment and spare gear to use for remote broadcasts, to assist in-studio, and to otherwise have for back up when things inevitably go bad. Here is a list of particular stuff were looking for, although we will take whatever you have that you think will help us out! New Computer, PC Tower: Dual core processor or better, Intel preferred 4GB+ RAM 1TB+ HDD Dual monitor GFX card (optional, we can pull out one from old machine) Laptop with similar specs (Dual core+, 3GB + RAM, smaller HDD is ok) for remote broadcasts Mic Stands Mics (Shure SM58 or similar) Cables: XLR Cables especially, also looking for Conversion Cables, adapters, 1/4, 1/8, etc. Always need extras Spare Headphones (over-ear, preferably) 12+ Track mixer board for traveling, 32+ track mixing board for studio Anything else you can contribute is welcome, were looking to improve everyones experience with our station, from the listeners to the hosts and interviewees!
