Name: Kerry________ Message Just off the Sunshine and am platinum vip passenger with Carnival. Noticed with despair and disgust how many women were allowed in the dining room at dinner time wearing flip flops. I told the dinning room manager---------- --------- who said that it was very difficult to inspect people’s feet as they came in. I thought this was an outrageous thing to say. He also said that some of the people I stood ad pointed out as they came in were wearing sandals not flip flops which was not correct. I suggest that you put a big sign at the entrance to the dinning room that says “No flip-flops here “ and then do something to enforce a rule you have but do nothing about. Kerry is right. We do have a rule that at the moment say’s no flip – flops. But the Maître D is correct as well. He hardly has time to do a foot inspection on 3000 guests as they enter the restaurant. I am not going to bore you with my repeated thoughts on dress code but instead ask you this…………………what’s the difference then between a sandal and a flip flop and should it bother anyone what someone else is wearing on their feet? Putting bare e feet on a table or start picking a bunion during dessert is something that would upset and disgust anyone but when those feet are under a table, minding their own business, does it really matter if they are wearing a flip flop, sandal or a sodding ski boot ? Thoughts please
