Name of Allah has been beautifully carved out by cutting the plants in beautiful and grand Masjid of village Kotla Rahim Ali Shah 10 km North of Jatoi City (MuzaffarGarh District) The Construction of Masjid was started on 31-03-2006 Dr Syed Shakil Ahmad Hussain (a Pakistani Cardiologist in USA) arranged the funds and named it after the names of his mother and Phoophi ( Sakeena Sughra). Both the ladies were present on the occasion of Stone laying ceremony The construction was supervised by Turkish experts. The material was imported from abroad (mostly from Turkey) Dr Jamil Shah belong to the local strong Political Family of Sadaat (Syeds) of Kotla Rahim Ali Shah (a small village 10km north of Jatoi, on the road which leads to Qureshian Mor). This family was settled here some 250 years ago and name of village is named according to the name of their Gran Grand Father. Sitting MNA from PML-N is from this family. Earlier Abdullah Shah and Jamil Shah and certain other family members won elections on Muslim League seats. They are Political Rivals to Jatoi Family since the days of Nazar Muhammad Jatoi and Nasrullah Khan Jatoi. Due to this local power game politics, the pure Muslim Leagers Jatoiis had to join PPP. Rahim Ali Shah founded the village Kotla Rahim Ali Shah 250 years ago and then a Masjid was built, which was just like other village Masajids. The Historical site of the old masjid is included in the new huge One Mulana Obaidullah Sindhi embraced Islam on the hands of this Syed Family and the Syed Family is very proud of it. There is a Madrassa in the Masjid, where other topics (in addition to Islamic) are also taught. The students of this Madrassa are usually top position holders in DG Khan Education Board.
