Naresh chairs DRSC-IV meet SRINAGAR, JULY 15: A meeting of Departmental Related Standing Committee (DRSC-IV)of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was held under the Chairmanship of MLC, Mr. Naresh Kumar Gupta here today. Threadbare discussions were held on the functioning of Home, Education and Cooperatives Departments. Legislators, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Dr. Syed Bashir Ahmed Shah (Veeri), Mr. Abdul MajeedBhat and Smt. Rani GargiBlowriaattended the meeting. The Committee took serious note of non-submission of record by the concerned departments. The Committee directed the concerned departments for submission ofrecordsin the next meeting to make the proceedings of Committee result oriented and the functioning of these departments are streamlined. The Committee decided to invitethe Administrative Secretaries and Head of Departments which include Principal Secretary Home, Commissioner Secretary, Education, Director General of Police, DG Jail, ADGP Security, DG Prisons, Director FSL, Director Fire Services, IG Crime, IG Jammu and IG Kashmir and Director, School Education, Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, Director SSA, Chief Education Officersof Kashmir Division for discussion of agenda points in the next meeting. Officers and officials of Council Secretariat were attended the meeting.
