Naruto Chapter 631 Reactions by SCGG Translations of the scene - TopicsExpress

Naruto Chapter 631 Reactions by SCGG Translations of the scene seem to be incredibly iffy and vague when it comes to meaning, and Im willing to bet its the same way in Japanese. Some fans insinuate that the word used for girlfriend in the Japanese version, kanojo, can be used to mean both a friend that is a girl or a girlfriend. While some argue that those defending this idea are in denial and there is no room for interpretation, Narutos response makes more sense in this context than it would otherwise. He is very hesitant in his words, as if he doesnt know what to say; if he doesnt call Sakura a friend, he could get pounded by her, but if he insinuates they are dating, he still gets pounded by her (isnt it so romantic?). So he ends up going for yes, has yet to finish his explanation of their friendship and gets pounded anyway.. comments: Gabrielle Tan : I actually find it very interesting how majority of the people considered any romance in chapter 615 and 631 because the first time I read both, I actually thought, for Hinatas hand holding, it was more of a comrade thing from Naruto but affections from Hinata and as for chapter 631, Sakura saying Sasukes name was really just shock from his sudden change in alliance just like every other character (except for Naruto) and the only scene remotely close to romance was when Minato asked if Sakura was Narutos gf and that was only because she was compared to Kushina by Minato (the canon pair). However, I wouldnt be surprised if the romance actually dont come to a close till the movie comes out since Kishimoto said the movie is all about love. Gushter1995: I seriously dont get why people think that NaruHina and SasuSaku are completely logical and make sense. Naruto and Hinata literally talked once before he left then once or twice before the war. Beside her confession (to which he never responded) and that encouragement when Neji died, there hasnt been any significant build-up between them. And I dont think that what has been shown is enough. SasuSaku is even more illogical if not totally ludicrous! I mean, Sakura was pinning for Sasuke ever since the academy and he never, not even once shown anything positive regarding her feelings. After he left, they saw each other twice before the war and the second time he literally tried to kill her. He never even acknowledged her existence other than being annoying. There is no way that Sasuke likes Sakura in any way beside maybe, and thats a big maybe, as a friend. Also, I dont see how Sakura can be in love with in in the first place. Hinata I can somewhat understand, she got attracted to Naruto because of his attitude and cheerful appearance. Sakura though only liked Sasuke because of his looks. Little shallow, wouldnt you say? The only pairing I can really see is NaruSaku. Many would disagree, but it really is the only logical pairing. Naruto was always there for Sakura, cheered her up and saved her life multiple time. They interact with each other and know each other very well, something that cant be said for Naruto and Hinata or Sakura and Sasuke. In the end, I dont really care how it ends up because the pairing(s) i like would never be acknowledged by Kishimoto (Copied selectively) Read more on: ign/blogs/scgg/2013/05/24/wtf-kishimoto-naruto-chapter-631-reactions -K¤n¤hamaru
