Nationwide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day - On Saturday April 26 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the Police Department will be hosting its eighth “Nationwide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.†This biannual event will once again take place in the parking lot of the Laguna Beach School District Offices at 550 Blumont Street. During the last four years of hosting these events, the Police Department has collected hundreds of pounds of unwanted and expired prescription medications. Not only do these events minimize the potential for misuse and abuse, but they also provide an opportunity to educate the public about the dangers of prescription drug use.
