Nature gets its revenge. A 72 year old Hunter in Fon du Lac - TopicsExpress

Nature gets its revenge. A 72 year old Hunter in Fon du Lac County, Wisconsin, was crossbow hunting when a doe came into vision. He got off a shot which penetrated the doe and sent it running into the woods (ok, it was not a great shot, but it did hit). Later that day, he went searching for the doe. Little did he know that she was waiting for him. While stumbling through some low bushes, he was surprised when the dear leapt out at him and brought one of her hoofs down on his calf (no details on injury, so we are not sure if the Hunter was incapacitated by a broken leg or joint damage or both). The deer then disappeared into the woods. The hunter is currently hospitalized for treatment of the injuries he sustained from the incident. The deer has yet to be found. Some believe she headed North in to Canada and will seak medical help for the bolt injury and political asylum.
