Navajo Election Board just violated their Oath, and 11 N.N.C 321. Board of Election Supervision-Powers and Duties. They completely failed to administer, implement and enforce the Navajo Election Code and to establish rules and regulations, and interpret the Election Code consistent with NAVAJO NATION LAW. For years they have failed to bring action as deemed necessary and proper for the enforcement of the Election Code through the Attorney General and report said violation/offenses to the Ethics and Rules Committee, where necessary, Example; Lorenzo Bates did not qualified to run the last 3 terms, and he was also fired from NAPI for ethics then same year, they let him run.., Now.., Deschene openly lied then Board claim they are independent from the Navajo Nation which is not correct. Board of Election in Breach of fiduciary trust duties to the Navajo people and Malfeasance or misfeasance of office.
