Need help with some ship manifest deciphering - part 2 My moms mom: Lena Newman - according to that ship manifest (again, from ancestry): Name of ship: Caledonia Sailing from: Glasgow Date: 24 March 1906 Arriving at Port of New York Name: Sara Neiman (Lenas mom) Name: Liba Neiman (I have learned Lena and Newman each have many spellings) Interesting handwriting for Liba: in section of place of origin, some numbers: as best I can read the handwriting - 1x58929 12-15-38 What do the numbers mean? Last residence: Lehitonov (sp?) Destination: Boston For person at destination to visit, cannot figure out or line up what is written to whom they are going to see. Mom doesnt recognize any of the people or places, either. Most of the family (all sides) settled in the Boston, MA area. The noted Boston address, 2 Davis Court, is not familiar to mom. Thanks again.
